‘World’s first’ cloned Arctic wolf bred in a Chinese lab

Subscribe to our YouTube channel for free here: On September 19, 2022, a genetics company in Beijing marked 100 days since it successfully cloned an Arctic wolf, in what it claimed was a world first. Scientists used a beagle dog as the gestational carrier by inserting a 16-year-old Arctic wolf’s cells into one of the female dog’s eggs.
