A fan in the first row (Nikola Krstic, singer with the Cave Dogs, a Serbian Nick Cave cover band) experienced the moment of his life when he was pulled by Nick on stage and sang with him the last minutes of White Elephant. More background: The song written by Nick Cave and Warren Ellis is dedicated to his friend, the British sculptor and painter Thomas Houseago. Both made a deal - if Thomas Houseago painted a picture, Nick would write him a song. In the same night, Nick wrote “White Elephant“ in a single setting, and Thomas Houseago painted a picture at the same time.
