This one is played on my Gibson ES 335. After the solo, I talk a bit about the inspiration and concepts that I used for the solo. I like to use small snippets of inspiration from some of my guitar player heroes and piece them together to create something new. Ideas and licks that I used here stem from Eric Clapton, Rory Gallagher, Matt Schofield, Stevie Ray Vaughan, and others. Most of the solo was pre-written (before recording), but the last bars where improvised. To my own surprise, I added quintuplets, a rhythm I practiced a few months ago, but struggled with the get it into my playing.
