Why You Should NOT take the DRY Line on a WET Nürburgring Nordschleife!

Here’s Why You Should NOT take the DRY Line on a WET Nürburgring Nordschleife! The normal (dry) racing line has the most amount of rubber on track. During dry conditions, this means the dry racing line has the most grip and is the fastest. However in wet conditions, this layer of rubber provides the LEAST amount of grip (rubber water = no grip). Therefore during wet conditions, you should always drive the “WET line“, which is almost the opposite of the dry line. As you can see in today’s video, some drivers make the mistake to take the dry line in the wet, resulting in losing grip (and the rest is history, as they say).
