Extreme Coordination 1: Basic Rudiments Over Brazilian Ostinato

Extreme Coordination: TENSION is a musician’s worst enemy. Think about it… It directly affects every single mental and physical aspect of our performance. A busy mind will unable us to enter a flow state of mind, while physical tension will make our sound subpar. Higher Coordination = Lower Tension. The concept is unbelievably simple, but it requires hours and hours of practice to be mastered. The following coordination exercises were recommended to me by one of my favorite teachers who ever lived, Chuck Silverman. The proper approach will immediately have a positive impact on your playing! ------- Poor coordination between our hands and feet causes crappy drum rolls, poor time keeping and horrible dynamics. If this is something you want to address right now, I invite you to practice along with this video every day for the next 10 days. I am also currently offering a FREE ONE-ON-ONE TRIAL SESSION in which I will teach you how to add some accents, change the sticking, mix some note values, etc… You will realize that this type of exercise is an inexhaustible source of knowledge!
