Welcome to Muscle and Motion YouTube channel! Today we’re talking about the anatomy of the knee joint. The knee joint is a complex joint that connects the thigh bone (femur) to the lower leg (tibia). It’s made up of a number of different bones, ligaments, muscles and tendons that work together to provide stability and allow the joint to move in multiple directions. We’ll go over the different components of the knee joint and how they work together to make walking and running possible. In our Anterior Knee Pain online course we also provide some tips for strengthening and protecting the knee joint, so you can stay fit and healthy.
