Dinah Lee performs her Number One hit “Don’t You Know Yockomo“ live in Whangarei. This video was originally uploaded by Andy Shackleton, the drummer in the Premiers who feature as the backing band on this occasion. Other members of the band that night were Mike Shackleton (Rhythm Guitar), Jimmy Ellyet (Lead Guitar), Peter Hindmarsh (Bass Guitar) and Graeme Sumers (Saxophone). The video published by Andy had audio dropsout during audience shots, and hence this hybrid video features as its soundtrack, the original studio recording of “Yockomo“ by Dinah with Max Merritt and The Meteors (released on Viking Records release 151).
