DAY ONE - WEDNESDAY | AUGUST 16, 2023 The festival’s Main Stage entertainment opened with a rather low-key Don Carlos performance, as this living legend allowed his (fifth) son Geo to kick-off proceedings. Thereafter, the father offered us such classics as Zion Train, Laser Beam, Favorite Cup, Front Line, ‘Moving’ and his signature classic tune Just A Passing Glance. It should also be noted that Carlos treated us to a fine rendition of Satta Massaganna, serving to confirm that there’s life in the old troubadour yet!
