Generation Kill - “Get Some“

Iceman’s squad overkills the lone insurgent holed up in a nearby building. For those that have never seen the show: Sergeant “Iceman“ Brat Cobert always talks in a rather educated manner. Corporal Ray Person (The guy that said “I’m a man now, just like you.“) is in the same HUMVEE as Iceman, Ray always speaks in a laid back fashion, and jokes around rather often with his infamous “HUMVEE chatter“. Iceman often counters Ray’s insults with highly intelligent come backs. But this time Ray gets his revenge via his witty “’Cept I don’t look like a faggot and talk all educated.“ line. If you haven’t seen the show then you should. It isn’t just about the military, it has a lot of symbols and motifs based on the norms of the modern American society. The show has some pretty good reflections and makes reference to popular culture. Be warned though, the show has more drama than actual action, so you may not be into that sort of stuff.
