The Immune Self: Dr Alfred Tauber

Dr. Tauber is an oncologist and philosopher who has taught and written widely on the history and theory of immunology, contemporary science studies, and medical ethics. In addition to his 120 papers in those areas, he is the author of six books, including Immunity, the Evolution of an Idea (Oxford 2017), Patient Autonomy and the Ethics of Responsibility (MIT 2005), and Confessions of a Medicine Man (MIT 1999).
