Apocalypse in Italy! Devastating flood hit Liguria, Savona, Italy!

In Liguria the foretold bad weather arrived in the night: incessant rains caused the flooding of the Letimbro torrent in the Santuario di Savona area, of the Erro in Pontinvrea and in the late morning also the Bormida river in Cairo Montenotte, near Piedmont (where the warning has turned red). In the province of Savona, the expected Atlantic disturbance is causing serious inconvenience, anticipating the red alert that was triggered from 2 pm also in Genoa and in the province of Imperia (Red alert then extended until tomorrow due to the slow passage of the low pressure area called ’Christian’). The enormous amount of precipitated water forced the city authorities of Savona to ban bridges and some roads to traffic. The section of the ’Autofiori’ motorway between Ceva and the A6 / A10 Savona junction towards the junction with the A10 has been closed, and a landslide hit the carriageway just before the urban center of Cadibona.
