Alan Hawkshaw (b. 1937) is a British composer and performer, particularly of themes for movies and television programs. Hawkshaw worked extensively for the KPM production music company in the 1960s and 1970s, composing and recording many stock tracks that have been used extensively in film and TV. In the 1970s, he played in The Shadows; he worked for Olivia Newton-John, Jane Birkin, Serge Gainsbourg and Cliff Richard, and inevitably got caught up in the disco scene as well, playing on Donna Summer’s Once Upon A Time album (1977) before composing and producing Miquel Brown’s debut album Symphony Of Love in 1978. By 1979 he recorded the album Here Comes That Sound Again - “With Special Thanks To Alec Costandinos“, the title track of which reached #1 in the US Disco Charts in August 1979 and has become a much-loved disco classic. 00:00 Here Comes That Sound Again 16:45 When We Were Dancin’ 23:15 Let Me Make It Up To You (Lead Vocal: Joanne Stone) 27:37 I Got That Feeli
