Women who serve the guns - munitions workers. Australia. A special train pulls into Australian station carrying munitions workers to rural factories, the workers, who are mostly women, pile out and make their way to the factory. They put on special uniforms and caps because they are working with explosives, M/S as they walk along. Camera pans across shell cases and landmines waiting to be filled. Various shots as cordite is laid out and cut into sections like spaghetti. C/U’s as liquid TNT and aminol (?) are poured into shell cases from jugs. M/S’s as the lids are fitted and they are packed in cases. M/S of the factory kitchen, a chef cuts through a huge joint of beef. L/S pan across the workers eating in the canteen.
