4K UHD - NASA Launches Aurora Research Rocket into the Northern Lights

What a night! What a Rocket! Swenson was amazing to watch! The Swesnon mission saw off an Auroral Spatial Structures Probe (ASSP) rocket carrying 1 main payload and 6 sub-payloads. The rather large Sounding Rocket put on an amazing display as it left Launch Pad 4 at Poker Flat Research Range and shot straight in the dancing Aurora above. NASA’s Wallops Flight Facility lent support as UAF GI launched the final rocket of the year. What an encore!
