A old gorgeous fillister plane restoration [rabbet plane | Falzhobel] [by noah gautschi]

I restore an old and broken gorgeous fillister plane [rabbet plane] in my little restoration woodshop. It is a beautiful wooden hand plane and it is always an experience to prepare such an old piece. However, before I can use the plane in my workshop again, I have to clean it and reassemble it. I dismantle the plane into its individual parts and restore them individually. When all parts have been cleaned, I sharpen the plane knife and put the plane back together again.
