The GBA’s “Largest Adventure Game“

This video spotlights the self-proclaimed largest adventure game on the Game Boy Advance, Zero One by Fuuki. Learn about this ambitious handheld adventure along with Zero One SP, a remake that features character designs by the creator of Outlaw Star, Takehiko Ito. I’ve been busy this year with other projects so I decided to make something a bit shorter this time around. I started researching Zero One in 2021 and have been hoping to make a video about for a while. It was a surprisingly ambitious title for its time yet it is basically unknown outside Japan, so I wanted to highlight it. There are actually a lot of Japanese adventure games I’d like to make similar videos about, so I kind of treated this project as a pilot episode for a potential series while I was making it. We’ll see if I have the time or motivation to do something like that in the future. But in the meantime, I hope you enjoy this little exploration of an interesting GBA title. I can not read Japanese so if I got any details about Zero One’s story or history wrong, please let me know. —Music— Metal Slader Glory: Charmy from Gen’s Auto / Station Bay Various songs from Zero One and Zero One SP —Sources— You can read my full list of sources on this blog post: —3rd-Party Footage— Ace Attorney Japanese Commercial : Ace Attorney Japanese Promotional Video: Hamtaro: Ham-Ham Heartbreak Japanese Commercial: Hotel Dusk Japanese Commercial: Japanese GBA Commercials: Mikopara [巫女ぱら] Game Sample - GBA/Doujin (Vysethedetermined2, 2022): Time Travelers LEVEL5 VISION 2010 Trailer:
