Big Shot Guest Mix 348: Zardonic

DJ/producer/remixer Zardonic went into the lab and whipped up to the latest installment of the Big Shot Guest Mix. Even better? He hit the record button and captured the action on video for all of us to enjoy. Here’s what he had to say about the session: “This is one-take, no studio post-edits, completely improvised set from a curated selection of some of my favorite tracks from my sets during the 2018 and 2019 tours for the Become LP. Now with the release of The Become Remix Album, I was able to update some of them with remixes that I had the pleasure of getting from these same artists. Merikan, IHR, The Qemists, Black Sun Empire, The Clamps, Pythius, these are among the people who are saving the modern Drum & Bass sound. I am extremely picky with the tracks I choose to play. There’s a very specific vibe and energy that I’m looking for. If a track doesn’t make me go absolute bananas, it doesn’t go in my playlist. That’s what Zardonic is about: pure, raw, unadulterated
