Taucher began spinning in 1992, initially collaborating with Torsten Stenzel. He quickly became one of the best-known spinners on the Frankfurt-am-Main club scene. Widely acclaimed as one of Germany’s most talented record spinners and producers Taucher won notoriety for his unusual stage antics, appearing as a scuba diver (which is what the word Taucher means in German) in a wedding dress, performing amateur ballet, and deejaying upside down. The eccentric Teuton kicked off his adventure as a DJ back in 1992 and, thanks to his showmanship and flair on the turntables, rapidly became one of the hottest names on Frankfurt am Main’s vibrant dance scene.
