Model Railroad Update #170: Making “Super“ - Super Trees

ANOTHER VIDEO??? I told you I had a bunch of videos in the works! This video is an overview- not a true “how-to“- on how I made two larger trees using wooden skewers, bark material, and the typical Super Tree material. You basically take the skewers, “break“ them slightly to form them into trunks, join them together (I held them at the base with blue painters tape), add the super tree branches, then add a bark material over the trunk to blend it all together. From there I followed the usual super tree process- paint, apply adhesive, flock, seal, reflock as needed, final seal. Then plant those puppies on the layout and enjoy the scene! This wraps up the videos on all the recent scenery work, so things will return to a more “normal“ video update schedule (whatever that is!). Maybe it is time to run some trains through the new scenery. Thank you for watching!
