Politician - Secretary Marshall - gives fiery speech about Europe turning to Communism unless America gives aid. President Truman’s car arrives at the Capitol in Washington DC. Inside the Capitol Truman makes a speech about the Marshall Plan for European Aid before Congress. Truman shakes hands with Marshall (?) outside the Capitol. Aerial shot of docks. Cargo is unloaded. Cars, flour, produce piled up. Queues to buy American food (could be in Greece). Prague: shots of the city. Top shot of crowds in a large square cheering and waving. A politician addresses the crowd. People inside a building listen intently then raise their arms as if to vote. Group of men shake hands - newly elected Communist Prime Minister Klement Gottwald and President Benes are among them. On 21st February workers leave a factory and march en masse to gather with huge crowds in the square. C
