This is going to make limited sense if you haven’t seen the movie lololol Baz Luhrmann is a wonderfully visual director, which makes some of Moulin Rouge’s absurder plot points and stylistic flourishes a little hard to um ‘put down in words’. HOWEVER IF, like me, you’re more than happy to be inside [something vaguely resembling] its world for a brief moment, then hopefully you’ll find something in here to like.
