The Tree of Life Awakens to Scenes from “The Lion King”

It’s the circle of life! ~Hop~ over to Disney’s Animal Kingdom and watch as the Tree of Life awakens to scenes inspired by “The Lion King!” The Tree of Life does not sleep tonight, as it awakens to tell the story of everyone’s favorite lion tribe from “The Lion King.” The projections begin with vibrant colors fading into a simple outline of baby Simba (1:55). The story follows Simbaand his dad, Mufasa, as they rule their kingdom (2:42). However, Scar (3:06) — Simba’s evil uncle — has different plans, and the stunning projections take us through the heartbreaking wildebeest stampede (3:17) that ends Mufasa’s life. The Tree of Life pays perfect tribute to the beloved movie, ending with the same simple outline of Simba … except this time, he has a mane, (5:55) symbolizing that he is all grown up.
