Prārambham -
To cater to the request of keen learners from all over the world, who are interested in learning the Melattur style Bharathanatyam , SDN humbly presents ‘Praarambham’. This is a set of tutorial videos to learn the basics of Melattur style online. . The basic Adavus have been presented in three speeds starting from slow and moving on to fast tempo and receding back to the slow tempo, which will be useful for learners to improve stamina. Tips and suggestions to avoid mistakes in doing Adavus are presented in the videos. Along with the Adavus, aspects of Hasthas and Viniyogas are also covered.

We work hard and spend a good time and amount of our resources to produce our music and dance videos. They are produced and uploaded on our social platforms solely to take our art to all those rasikas around the globe who are unable to reach us in person to enjoy SDN’s art live.
It is not about ’misuse’ or ’trying to support’ our dance and audio productions by just giving credits. Art is for all, for sure.
