AC/DC performing their opening song ’Thunderstruck’ at The 1991 ’Monsters of Rock Festival’ at Donington Park, England. ’Monsters of Rock 91’’ facts: This was AC/DC’s third appearence as Headlines (Previously in 1981 1984) at the “Monsters of Rock“ festival held at Donington Park, England. The 2 hour show was performed in-front of an estimated 72,500 spectators and included real cannons, the Hells Bell, and an inflatable Rosie and an inflatable Angus. The Donington stage consisted of 250 tonnes of steel plus 250 tonnes production equipment requiring 34 articulated lorries to ferry the whole lot around. Hundreds of crew , 116 production workers contracted to AC/DC alone. AC/DC hit the Donington stage at pm with Thunderstruck.
