A farewell ceremony for Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi and Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, who were killed in a helicopter crash, is taking place in Tabriz, the IRNA news agency said. Several thousand people are taking part in the procession. The vast majority are wearing mourning colors. The news agency also said that the funeral will soon spread to other Iranian cities. After Tabriz, the coffins containing the bodies of the victims will be sent to Tehran for a general funeral prayer in the capital’s mosque.
