Whiskey Blogger Stuart McNamara visits Ballykeefe Farm Distillery in Ireland for an access all areas tour from distillery owner Morgan Ging. Ballykeefe is a Farm Distillery where all of the Whiskey, Gin and Vodka they make is distilled from grains grown on their own spent grains left over from the mash brewing are then fed to their farm cattle who produce the “fertiliser“ for the grain fields. Spending one to one quality time with the distillery owner for this behind the scenes tour was also an ideal opportunity to watch at first hand how triple distilled Irish Whiskey is made from “Grain to Glass“ at one of Ireland’s leading sustainable Irish Whiskey Distilleries.
