"ʻōʻō" (instrumental by Alex Homer) feat. sounds of the last recorded male Kauaʻi ʻōʻō bird

This song is a tribute to the song of the male Kauaʻi ʻōʻō bird, particularly this lonesome guy who has long since passed, who’s last calls were recorded alone as no other ʻōʻō was to be found. The last Kauaʻi ʻōʻō, a male, reportedly went extinct in 1987. The ʻōʻō would sing it’s song and it’s lifetime mate would sing their part, making a duet of the two love birds. Accompanied music by Alex Homer(Bace Man Productions). Sound clip of the ʻōʻō bird was recorded by David Boynton in and I do think that’s crickets in there too lol lyrics in the instrumental: “O O“ “I’ma sing our song, even if I sing alone“..“ooO“
