Do You Know What It Means To Miss New Orleans - Bridge City Dixieland Jazz Band

From the Album: Bridge City Dixieland Jazz Band Release year: 1969 The Bridge City Dixieland Jazz Band was one of the many good things to come out of the Canada’s Centennial celebrations. Just for fun, six musicians donned boaters and candy-striped blazers and played on a float in Saskatoon’s annual Travellers’ Day Parade. Soon bookings started coming in and the band was firmly established in the Saskatoon area. Trumpet: Joe Campbell Trombone: Bobs Caldwell Clarinet: Don Watson Piano: Scotty Gordon Drummer: Eigil Jensen String Bass: Barney Kutz Technical notes: There was hard stereo separation of the left and right channels (this was common in the era). I have performed a 50% mix to each channel to balance the sound while retaining some separation. If you would prefer the non-altered tracks you can download the FLAC files provided below. Downloadable MP3s and artwork: Gdrive:
