Short Interview with Lyudmila Pahomova by Yuriy Ovchinnikov, 1984 (Юрий Овчинников берет интервью у Людмилы Пахомовой) It was the time when Yuriy Ovchinnikov was thinking of creating a touring company of famous figure skating. He was asking her whether she would have been interested in taking part in such a company at the time when she finished skating. She answers that at that time she would have been very keen on the idea as she hasn’t fully realised her desire to dance. Then they talk of skaters who haven’t won first places in the competitions but were great artists, like Igor Bobrin etc. Lyudmila at the end says that she would have recommended herself for Yuriy’s company (with a laugh).
