I just got this “Smoothtalker” Model SSJ1 in from Mervyn Davis Guitars, and it is blowin’ my mind! 🤯 The design features on this baby are incredibly innovative. It’s a huge challenge to re-imagine the acoustic guitar design, since the traditional designs work so well… but I have to say, Mervyn Davis really brought something to the table with this Smoothtalker design. The smaller sound chamber, adjustable tensioning bar on the bridge, crazy high fret access, and modular design, all combine beautifully to make this guitar truly badass!
