What went wrong in British politics? || A debrief from Rory Stewart

Has something gone seriously wrong in the practice of British politics? As recently as 2019 Rory Stewart was a minister in Theresa May’s government and then ran to be leader of the Conservative. Now out of Parliament and free to speak his mind, I wanted to find out what Rory Stewart’s views on how politics happens in modern Britain for this week’s #BritainDebrief for the Atlantic Council. From amateurishness to populism and a focus on media at the expense, Rory paints a damning picture of one of a whole way of governing gone seriously wrong.
