Animus - Untitled 1 (Black Metal from Israel)

The exact genre of Animus (From Israel) is not known, it can be considered as a Blackened Abstract form of Black Metal. Golan Weiss, the only member, has been writing and composing music since 1999, and formed Animus in 2003. In April 2005 he released the first album: Poems For The Aching, Swords For The Infuriated. Animus is now in Ars Magna Recordings. There is no tracklist with the album, nor are there any linear notes. On the back of the jewel case are the words “Six and the one self“. Inside the inlay card: “In Memoriam --- Honoring the collective of souls who nobly chose the aestheticism of creation on favor of their fragile human existence. And with this... We celebrate our mortality and endless being“. On the rear of the inlay card: “Animus is none and nothing but sheer artistic devotion. No words, no musical notes -- emotions.“ The lyrics on track two are from Ecclesiastes 1, lines 2-18. “This is an album that can never be replicated. Even if you get the same person with the same precise instruments, same recording, same emotions and thoughts, the results will not be the same, not by a long shot. This is an album of such fragility and such unmitigated brilliance that it required a single moment in time to be harnessed for its creation. There is nothing like this LP, nothing like Animus.“ -Noktorn. Full Album Uploaded: (If you like it Buy It.) Merch: .. Support bands in every single way. Buy the material if you like it.
