The 2nd Edition is a major redesign. Mechanically, here are the three biggest differences: - It’s a drafting-&-racing game where you start each turn by choosing an itinerary. 1st edition was a set-collection-&-racing game where you start each turn by drawing cards with no thematic meaning. - In the new edition, you can get special powers for free by going to various destinations, which can be played in combos for big turns. - It has a solo mode. There are many other changes as well. No rule is unchanged.
