TURBO OUT RUN (Sega - Arcade - 1989)

Turbo Out Run is a racing game released by Sega in 1989, for the Arcade rooms. The sequel to the legendary original arcade opts for a set route point-to-point race across America in which weather conditions are another new feature, with both snow and rain having an adverse effect on driving conditions and car handling. Our Ferrari now has a turbo boost that greatly increases the car’s speed when engaged. It must be used sparingly, however, as overuse will cause the engine to overheat. The final new addition is the ability to upgrade the player’s car. Available power-ups are an improved turbo boost, a more powerful engine, or better gripping tires. *VIDEO SUMMARY* 00:00 Intro and setup Upgrade kit edition 00:58 Stage 1 - New York 01:41 Stage 2 - Washington DC 02:18 Stage 3 - Pittsburgh 03:02 Stage 4 - Indianapolis 04:06 Stage 5 - Chicago 05:02 Stage 6 .
