Van Helsing (2004) Alternate Ending

An easter egg from found on the one of the special edition disks for Van Helsing (2004). This ending was director Stephan Summers’ original vision for the film and a homage to Universal’s original Dracula production. However, late into filming, actor Kate Beckinsale expressed concerns that her role in this film was too similar to one of her previous film roles. As a result, the studio was pressured into filming a new ending used in the final cut.
