RC Land Yacht on the beach.

Something a bit different to the usual gliders (But still RC and wind powered) This was the first try of my own-design Land Yacht. The body is made from light-ply, with carbon fibre tubes for the mast, boom, and axels. The wheels are from an old model aircraft. I gave about 45 degrees rake on the steering. The sail is made from rip-stop nylon and operated using a high-torque servo. I may give the rear wheels some camber and adjust the sail slightly, but the test run went well. The wind was blowing about 12-13 mph.
