Restoration Old Piece Of Shashka In Plastun Cossack Knife

Hello folks! Today I want to show you my new restoration project. I have a very interesting restoration. I was inspired by a legend for this restoration. A few weeks ago, I bought a piece of a shashka, there was a clip with the stamp “A“ on the scabbard, and i.e. the receiver was Alekseev. This subject is more more than 100 years old. So the legend says that earlier, when a saber or shashka broke, it was sharpened into knives, so that the good would not be wasted. And there were such knives as the plastun knife. And so today, restoring this piece of checkers, I will try to recreate a cossack knife.
