LIVE: Russia’s Lavrov and Tajikistan FM Muhriddin give press conference in Dushanbe

Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov and his Tajik counterpart Sirojiddin Muhriddin hold a joint press conference after bilateral talks in Dushanbe on Wednesday, May 19. The officials are expected to exchange views on current global security issues with the focus on the impact on the safety of the member states of the Collective Security Treaty Organisation (CSTO) and also to discuss prospects for the development and strengthening of bilateral cooperation in a broad range of areas. The ministers’ talks come ahead of the CSTO Ministerial Council meeting, that also takes place in Tajikistan’s capital on Wednesday.
