Here’s the first part of my EPIC tribute to the music of 1986! Originally, I was going to wait until the entire mix was done before sharing, but during these anxious times I figured fans of my previous mixes might appreciate a generous sample of what’s to come. [Still working on the full-length version, which will likely clock in at over 4 hours!] As usual, this mix combines bonafide classics with some forgotten gems that deserve a second listen. Starting slow with a couple of popular ballads from that year, this first section slowly builds in tempo until you find yourself groovin’ to Duran Duran’s ’Notorious’.
