Americans hate China, but why?

It is no secret that China and the US are at odds with each other, but why do Americans hate China? I recently watched another video from a guy named Ben Coleman (linked below) and he didn’t want to talk about the politics behind the hate, but I think the politics are really important and worth looking at to better understand the differences between China and the USA. In this video, I talk a little bit about the history and why Americans are scared of and angry at China. What are your thoughts?
