Rocket Lab launches NASA’s CAPSTONE mission to moon

Rocket Lab launched NASA’s small CAPSTONE cubesat to the moon from New Zealand on June 28, 2022. The Cislunar Autonomous Positioning System Technology Operations and Navigation Experiment (CAPSTONE) is a 55-pound (25 kg) cubesat that is the size of a microwave oven.
