Drawing Skin Texture | Graphite and Charcoal Technique

My drawing classes on Skillshare with a special offer: Hello, everyone! Very often I get messages asking how to draw skin texture, so I decided to make this video to answer this question. In this portrait of Denzel Washington I used a mixed media technique, that is, I mixed two different materials: graphite and charcoal. Using charcoal power for large areas and graphite, compressed charcoal pencils, different types of eraser (electric eraser, pencil eraser, pen stick eraser) and blending tools (blending stumps, brushes, tissue), I was able to draw the smallest skin pores and I ended up enjoying the process and pretty satisfied with the finished piece. I hope you learn something from this video! Portrait of Denzel Washington Graphite and charcoal on Lana Bristol A3 size paper My social media: Instagram: Pinterest: Facebook:
