Globally, central banks added a net 37 tons of gold to their holdings in July, according to the latest data compiled by the World Gold Council. It was a 206 percent month-on-month increase and the highest central bank gold purchases since January. In May, he announced that his presidential campaign would begin accepting donations in cryptocurrency as part of an effort to build a “crypto army“ leading up to Election Day.
