SHORT FILM / LYHYTELOKUVA: Suomalaisuus

This artistically oriented short film “Finnishness“ talks about the independency of Finland, Finnishness and what it means to live in Joensuu (a city in Eastern Finland). The poem in the artwork is based on traditional, strong values. The film was made in 2008 because of the 90th birthday on Finland and the 160th birthday on Joensuu. The premiere was held in autumn 2008 during the school-leaving ceremony of the new graduates of Joensuun normaalikoulu upper secondary school. I as a director thank all those who were helping me, especially the actors. Taiteellisesti suuntautunut lyhytelokuva käsittelee Suomen itsenäisyyttä, suomalaisuutta sekä joensuulaisuutta. Teoksessa esitettävä runo pohjautuu perinteisiin, vahvoihin arvoihin. Elokuva on tehty vuonna 2008 Suomen 90-vuotisjuhlan sekä Joensuun 160-vuotisjuhlan kunniaksi.
