☭ Советская Армия(СА) — официальное наименование основной части Вооружённых Сил СССР (кроме ВМФ, Войск гражданской обороны, пограничных и внутренних войск). До 25 февраля 1946 года называлась Рабоче-Крестьянская Красная Армия (Красная Армия, РККА). Основана согласно Декрету о создании Рабоче-Крестьянской Красной Армии 15 (28) января 1918 года для защиты населения, территориальной целостности и гражданских свобод на территории советского государства.
