Happy Halloween, everyone! 🎃👻🍂 Here’s a chilling legend for you: They say that if a carnival performer takes the stage on Halloween, a malevolent spirit named Edward Mordrake will appear, claiming a new soul for his otherworldly circus of the damned. Or at least, that’s what “American Horror Story: Freak Show“ would have us believe😉 I’m a huge fan of this TV series, and season 4 is one of my all-time favorites. The scene where Jessica Lange performs Lana Del Rey’s “Gods and Monsters“ is absolutely mesmerizing. This song hit me hard, and I knew right then and there that I’d one day create my own cover of this haunting song. Fortunately, I had a break between writing and arranging songs for our new album and recording them, so I seized the opportunity to work on this song. It took me over a month to craft the virtual environment, film the scenes, and composite the shots for the video.
