The composition uses various microchromatic scales, for sounding of which a Yamaha Clavinova digital piano and a computer program “MidiTuner“ specially created by the author for microchromatic changes in the sound of such a piano are used. Also, some variants of overtone tunings proposed by Roman Oleinikov and the so-called “genetic scales“ invented by Petoukhov are used. Piano modificato (name and principle suggested by Ivan Soshinsky) is a version of digital piano with pitch microtonal transposition of each keys (sound). Thus, it can play music at different pitch scales, such as the Pythagorean scale, not 12-equal
