Shia LaBeouf stormed out of press conference in Berlin for Lars Von Trier’s controversial new movie

(9 Feb 2014) Shia LaBeouf injected some drama in to the Berlin Film Festival on Sunday when he stormed out of a press conference for his latest film “Nymphomaniac.“ The Hollywood star stood up and left the event after being asked his first question from a member of the audience. Asked about the explicit sexual content in the movie and whether society was ready for a film like “Nymphomaniac,“ LaBeouf responded: “When the seagulls follow the trawler, it’s because they think sardines will be thrown into the sea. Thank you very much.“ The film, which is being shown in two parts, is a drama about a woman’s erotic journey from birth to the age of 50. Also in attendance at the press conference was Uma Thurman, Stellan Skarsgard and Stacy Martin. The film’s controversial director, Lars Von Trier did not attend despite being seen at the festival earlier. In his absence though, those in attendance showered the Danish director with praise.
