Led Zeppelin - Live in Montreux, Switzerland (March 7th, 1970) - Audience Recording

As requested by AppetiteForIllusions, here is the full audience recording of the band’s show in Montreux during their early 1970 European tour. This is simply one of the best audience recordings of the band ever. Crystal clear and atmospheric, it gives the feeling of being in the crowd at the Montreux Casino. Sadly, however, it’s incomplete, cutting off partway into How Many More Times. Regardless, it’s a very enjoyable recording. The performance is very good, with Plant and Bonham in particular being in fantastic shape. Moby Dick especially is one of the best versions ever. Page on the other hand starts off strong, but seems to lose a bit of steam as the show goes along, almost certainly due to getting a little drunk. Special thanks to Bert for speed correcting and revising this recording and to Mysterii for the thumbnail! 0:00 Intro 0:31 We’re Gonna Groove 4:02 I Can’t Quit You Baby 10:42 Dazed and Confused 26:57 Heartbreaker 34:31 White Summer/Black Mountain Side (cut) 45:05 Since I’ve Been Loving You 51:28 Organ Solo 53:46 Thank You 1:00:43 What Is and What Should Never Be 1:05:20 Moby Dick 1:20:58 How Many More Times (cut) Bootleg: Divinity (Bert13 Revision)
