Defender assists opponents spank his club with two own goals

Two goals scored in ridiculous fashion by defender Hashmin Musah against his own club, International Allies, to hand Ashantigold SC a 7:0 win in the final day of the 2020/2021 Ghana Premier League season, is the talk of town. Many are calling for a probe. With 13 minutes of play left and Ashantigold leading 5:0, Hashmin Musah would simply pick the ball from his colleagues, and aparently goaded on in what appeared very orchestrated, head straight for his own goal to plant the ball there. The defender has been reported saying he did it deliberately to undermine a prematch prediction by betting fans that Ashantigold would win by 5:1. “I heard it in our hotel that there was a correct score line of 5 goals to 1 against my club Inter Allies.
